WALKIN TOUR. ( 14 Days / 13 Night)


Day 1 :
Arrival

Arrival:

- Arrival at Cairo Airport, Our Wedjat Tours Representative will be there holding a sign with your name to meet and assist you through the airport formalities.

- Transfer to your hotel to assist you with the check in.

Day 2 :
City Tour

Cairo – Pyramids – Museum:

- Breakfast at your hotel, and then start a full day tour to Giza Pyramids which have been considered one of the great wonders of the world,

- Visit the 3Great Pyramids (Cheops, Chefren and Macarinos).

- Go inside one of the Queens Pyramids.

- Visit the Panorama to see the 3Pyramids from far and take pictures where you can take pictures holding the pyramids with your hands.

- Visit the Great Sphinx which has kept its secrets for centuries.

- Visit the Egyptian Museum containing over 120000 piece of the Pharaonic monuments. The Brilliant collection of Tutankhamen and the amazing mummy’s room.

- Afternoon transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3 :
Cairo - Sinai

Cairo - Sinai:

- This morning we have an early start as we leave the hectic city of Cairo.

- We meet the Gulf of Suez and follow the Sinai coast down to the area of St. Catherine in the heart of Sinai.

- Here we meet our friendly Bedouin guides who give us an insight in to trekking in the desert.

- Later on we head to El-Karm lodge where we spend the night under the stars.

- Over night in Bedouin lodge with shared facilities.

Day 4 :
Sinai

Sinai:

- After breakfast we walk to Sheikh Awad, where there is a Sheikh’s tomb .summer and winter guest house ,cemetery , school.

- And cistern built by the sheikh.

- This is a location of annual festivals of the Awlad Gindi from the Gibaliya tribe, who are the sheikh’s descendants.

- A camel is slaughtered on these occasions.

- Moving on we come to hidden valley known as a Farsh Om Sila to finally reach one of the highlights of our excursions a group of water holes and pools called Galt el Azraq where we will wash and rest.

- We continue in Wadi Talla till we reach our camping spot at Farsh Rummana.

- If there is time we will visit Bade ed Dunya where there is a view to the southeast ruins of a Byzantine monastery.

Day 5 :
Sinai

Sinai:

- Today we head to Naqb Gibal toward Gibal Valley, and then descend until we reach the Berry tree at the end.

- We head the Zuweeitin-naqb gibal here is a group of ancient olive trees.

- According to the gibalia tribe these trees were planted by the founder of the tribe.

- We reach Wadi Shagg there are waterholes and pools.

- Giant boulders and ruins of building from the Byzantine period.

- We spent the night in Garden.

- The walk requires a few climbs over boulders and past water holes.

Day 6 :
Sinai

Sinai:

- We continue trekking in the beautiful area Gabal Ahmar ,Wadi Ahmar ,Wadi Arbeen ,Farsh Loza.

- Sleep overnight in Safsafa.

- Bedouin music and special Bedouin food .

- Camping for the night.

Day 7 :
St. Catherine

St. Catherine:

- This morning we rise early (around 4 am) to start our trek up Mount Sinai.

- We have hot drinks we aim to reach the summit (2285m) for sunrise.

- The views over the Sinai, especially in the light of dawn are breathtaking.

- After descending we visit the visitor’s center at St.Catherinen’s Monastery.

- After 4 days of trekking .it’s time for a well deserve shower at the Bedouin camp of wadi BAGG, we are met by the owner ,who shows us around his herbs garden and lodge.

- After showers it’s time for lunch.

- Then we walk in the nearby Wadi Tila.

- Over night in Bedouin lodge with shared facilities.

Day 8 :
Sharm El Sheikh - Luxor

Sharm El Sheikh - Luxor:

- After breakfast transfer to Sharm El-Sheikh Airport.

- Take the flight to Luxor.

- Arrive to Luxor airport.

- Check in your Nile cruise.

- depart to the West Bank.

- Visit the Valley of the Kings (your ticket allows you to visit 3Tombs and our guide will assist you to select the best Tombs).

- Visit the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Collosi of Memnon.

- Check in your Nile Cruise for 4 Nights and have lunch on board.

- Opportunity to stroll around Luxor with your guide.

- Dinner on board of your Nile Cruise.

Day 9 :
Luxor

Luxor:

- After breakfast on board of your Cruise tour starts to the East Bank.

- Visit Luxor Temple originally joined to Karnak by an avenue of Sphinxes.

- Visit Karnak which covers a huge area and includes several temples, the largest being the Temple of Amon.

- Back to have Lunch on board of your Nile Cruise and start sailing to Aswan.

- Dinner on board of your Cruise.

Day 10 :
Luxor - Aswan

Luxor - Aswan:

- Breakfast on board of your Nile Cruise.

- Relax as you sail along the fertile Nile Valley to pass Isna Lock with a stop at Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples:

- Stop sailing to take a horse carriage to The Falcon God Horus Edfu Temple.

- Stop sailing to visit Kom Ombo Temple of the Crocodile God Sobek.

- Lunch and Dinner on board of your Nile Cruise.

Day 11 :
Aswan

Aswan:

- Breakfast on board of your Nile Cruise, and then start a full day tour to the city of Aswan.

- Visit The High Dam.

- Visit The Unfinished Obelisk.

- Take a Motor to Philae Temple the Temple of Love for Goddess Isis.

- Back to have Lunch on board of your Cruise.

- Felucca Ride to around the Kitchener Botanical Island, Sail past the Agha Khan Mausolem.

- Opportunity to stroll around Aswan City Market with our Guide.

- Dinner on board of your Cruise.

Day 12 :
Aswan ? Abu Simbel

Aswan – Abu Simbel:

- After Breakfast on board of your cruise,

- Travel by our A/C Coach to Abu Simbel,

- Visit the Temple of Ramsses 2nd and his beautiful wife Nifertari (2 and half hours drive with 2 hours visit).

- Transfer to Aswan train station to take the First Class Sleeper Train to Cairo.

- Dinner on Board of your train.

Day 13 :
Cairo ? City Tour

Cairo – City Tour:

Breakfast on board of your Sleeper train.

- Visit Islamic Cairo.

- We start at the Citadel (Old Castle) and you can see all of the old Cairo from there fortress with a visit to the Mohamed Ali Mosque (the Alabaster Mosque)..

- Visit the Green Mosque.

- Visit El Azhar Mosque (The first Islamic university in the world).

- Visit Coptic Cairo home of some of the oldest Christian churches.

- Visit The Hanging Church.

- Visit The Holy Crypt, Walk where Mary and Josef walked and hid thousands of years ago.

- Visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar.

- Afternoon transfer back to your hotel.

Day 14 :
Departure

Departure:

- Breakfast then transfer to Cairo international airport and final departure with your wonderful memories.
